We grew a bit in 2002! 

The second fest returned to the McAuley Theater at Mt. Mercy College (now University). Twenty films from around the state were screened, and we had two guest speakers: Shirley Long, story editor and Iowa Motion Picture Association founding member; and Bradley Smith, Emmy Award winning sound designer.

We were completely floored to have 230 filmgoers walk through the doors!

We added awards to the event, though the structure wasn’t anything resembling today’s Eddy Awards.
